We collect personal information from you in a few different ways. Sometimes we will ask you for information directly. Other times, we will collect information automatically when you use the Services. And in some cases, we may receive information about you from third parties. Information we may collect includes the following:

• Account and contact information, like your email address or phone number, password, date of birth, display name, avatar, bio, gender, timezone, settings, and links to your other social profiles. If you sign in with a third-party sign-on provider like Apple, Google or Facebook, we get your basic profile and email from them.
• Content that you create, like videos and other content you record, upload or import, your comments, and challenges you create, as well as metadata associated with your content.
• Direct and group messages you send or receive, which are delivered through our chat provider.
• Information about how you use the Services, like the challenges that you enter or create, your interactions on the platform, who you follow, and what you like, save, repost and share. We also record playback events—like watch duration, pauses, and replays—plus your searches. Before you sign up, the app can run as a guest profile tied to your device; its history becomes part of your account if you join.
• Information about your device, browser or network connection, including your device model, OS and app version, device identifiers and browser identifiers, IP address and network configuration, crash reports, and performance logs.
• Your contacts, if you choose to share them. If you turn on contact syncing, the phone numbers and email addresses in your address book (or your Facebook friend list) are matched against HUGE accounts to suggest friends. (You can turn syncing off in your device settings, and ask us to delete what was synced.)
• Purchase information when you buy Crystals or other products through the Services. Payment processing is handled through our third-party service providers, but we receive information about each transaction.
• Claim information for rewards that you win through the Services, including name, address, and location information we might need to send you a reward.
• Other information you choose to provide to us, like reports or emails you send us to obtain customer support.

We may combine personal information we collect from you with other personal information. We may also de-identify personal information we collect from you and use or disclose it for purposes permitted under applicable laws.

HUGE and our service providers may use cookies and similar technologies, like beacons, tags, and scripts (collectively, “cookies”), to collect information from your device or browser. We use cookies to provide the Services and recognize your browser or device. For example, we might use cookies to maintain your session as you navigate around our website. We also use cookies to help us understand the traffic to our Services and monitor the performance of our Services. By using the Services, you acknowledge the use of cookies by HUGE and our service providers. You can set your browser to block some cookies, but doing that might stop our Services from working correctly.

We use your personal information for a variety of purposes, including:

• Providing the Services, including by enabling you to upload and view content, running challenges, counting votes, crediting HP, delivering rewards, and enabling you to interact with other users of the Services.
• Personalizing your experience, including by showing you challenges and videos you might like based on your activity and preferences.
• Keeping our Services and users safe, including by making sure that content uploaded by users complies with our Community Guidelines through automated and human review, handling reports, preventing abuse and misconduct, and keeping records of enforcement.
• Communicating with you, including to help you access your account and to provide technical support when you ask for it.
• Keeping our Services running smoothly by using analytics, including session replay technology, to see how people use the Services, when and how they access the Services, and when the Services encounter technical issues.
• For other purposes disclosed to you when we collected your information or with your consent.

The security of your personal information is very important to HUGE, and we implement a variety of technical and organizational measures to protect it. Still, no system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of information you provide in connection with your use of the Services.

When you choose to use the Services, we disclose your personal information to certain people and organizations outside of HUGE. These include:

• Other HUGE users, depending on your privacy settings. Other HUGE users may be able to view your profile, the content you upload, your comments and messages, and other information you make available. Privacy settings in the HUGE app help you control how much of your activity on the Services is visible to other users, including who can see your account, comment on your content, message you, download your videos, and see your lists. Note that while a challenge’s voting is live, other users cannot see how you voted. Results are revealed only when the challenge ends: the leaderboard becomes public, and a creator’s profile may show their supporters — the people whose Huge Votes backed their entries.
• Our service providers who help us operate the Services. We enter into contracts with our service providers to restrict their use of your personal information as required by law. Among other things, service providers may help us with hosting, storage, video processing and delivery, AI content analysis, messaging, analytics and attribution, technical support, payment processing, and email and SMS delivery.
• Challenge sponsors, like brands that support challenges offered on the Services. Challenge sponsors can see public entries and aggregate results.
• Where we are legally required to disclose your data, or need to do so to protect our legal rights. If HUGE is ever part of a merger or acquisition, we may disclose your personal information as part of that transaction.

The Services may contain links to websites or online services operated by third parties. Any such links do not indicate HUGE’s endorsement of those websites or online services, and this Privacy Policy does not apply to them. When you are accessing a third-party website or online service, you should always review its privacy policy and terms of service.

HUGE keeps your personal information while your account is open so that we can provide the Services. If you choose to close your account, we will delete your personal information after providing you a reasonable window in which to reactivate your account. Note that we may need to retain certain information collected from you for our business purposes, or as required by law, including purchase records and enforcement records of serious violations.

You can request that we delete your personal information as described in this policy, and we will address those requests in accordance with applicable law.

Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights under applicable data protection laws:

• The right to access personal information we have collected about you, or confirm that we have collected your personal information or processed it in certain ways.
• The right to request that we delete certain personal information we have collected about you.
• The right to correct inaccuracies in the personal information we have collected about you.
• The right to limit our processing of certain personal information.
• The right to obtain a portable copy of your personal information that can be transferred to another party.
• The right to withdraw consent you have previously provided to us.

HUGE does not sell your personal information, nor do we share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

If you want to exercise your privacy rights, or have a question about those rights, please write us at privacy@huge.tv. We will not retaliate against you for exercising your privacy rights, though we may not be able to offer certain functionality or features to you depending on how you restrict our processing of your personal information. We may verify certain types of requests by requesting that you provide us with additional information to confirm your identity. In some cases, we may deny requests in accordance with applicable law. If that happens, you can appeal the decision by contacting us at privacy@huge.tv.

No. The Services are only available to users over the age of 18. Users under the age of 18 may not access the Services. If we learn an account belongs to someone under the age of 18, we close it and delete the personal information associated with the account. If you believe that a HUGE account is being used by a minor, please contact us at safety@huge.tv.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will notify you in the app, by email, or through some other reasonable means before the change becomes effective. We encourage you to periodically revisit this page for the latest information about how we process your personal information.
